Showroom Cashier

The Showroom Cashier takes every payment made at the showroom, issues the paperwork that goes with it, and makes sure the day balances before close.

What you will be doing

Processing cash, card and transfer payments promptly and courteously
Issuing receipts and invoices correctly against each sale
Reconciling daily takings and preparing the banking
Flagging discrepancies to the Accounts team the same day
Supporting the sales team with order paperwork during busy periods

What we are looking for

OND or HND in Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline
1–2 years of cashiering experience in a retail environment
Strong numeracy and real attention to detail
Familiar with POS terminals and basic spreadsheets
NYSC certificate or exemption certificate
